School Field Trips

School group field trips are available that can complement classroom learning. Contact the Mask Museum to plan a trip that will include a guided tour of the as well as some mask making fun.

• Masks, like myths, cannot be interpreted on their own and in their own right, as if they were isolated objects. Rather, masks should be studied in context: for their role to be understood, the dances themselves need to be analyzed and their meaning examined.
